Social

Civil Rights

We are with the civil rights were personal rights guaranteed and protected by the U.S. Constitution and federal laws enacted by Congress, such as the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Civil rights include protection from unlawful discrimination.

Why we support civil rights?

  • We support the civil rights because it guarantees of equal social opportunities and equal protection under the law, regardless of race, religion, or other personal characteristics.

  • We defend the civil rights since it protects the major five freedoms: speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. All together, these five guaranteed freedoms make the people of the United States of America the freest in the world.

  • We stand with the civil rights including the right to vote, the right to a fair trial, the right to government services, the right to a public education, and the right to use public facilities. Since the civil rights are an essential component of democracy, it is very important to be protected especially when individuals are being denied opportunities to participate in political society or they are being denied their civil rights. In contrast to civil liberties, which are freedoms that are secured by placing restraints on government, civil rights are secured by positive government action, often in the form of legislation.

  • We reserve and protect civil rights laws for attempt to guarantee full and equal citizenship for people who have traditionally been discriminated against on the basis of some group characteristic. When the enforcement of civil rights is found by many to be inadequate, a civil rights movement may emerge in order to call for equal application of the laws without discrimination.

Where We Stand

Racism

No individual or group should behave in a superior manner against other individuals or groups regardless of social perceptions of biological variations. These behaviors may take different forms from social actions to practices or beliefs or even political systems in which different races are ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities.

We will fight all type of racism since racism is a method created by attitudes or actions within policies or systems which end up to a discriminatory outcome, therefore, racism is an unacceptable act and should be prevented at all costs since it will create division within the community.

Abortion

Abortion will be divided to three major sections,

  1. In case of rape or incest: Female has full right to decide on abortion as soon as she realize her pregnancy and/or when she has full control of her situation.

  2. Abnormal pregnancy: Female can make abortion judgment upon medical opinion. It can be done for the following reasons:

    1. To preserve the life, physical, or mental well-being of the mother.

    2. To prevent the birth of a child with genetic abnormality, serious deformity, or mental deficiency.

  3. Normal pregnancy: Female has full power to make abortion decision before it has reached the stage of viability before finishing the first trimester. Until that time fetus considered to be part of the female body. After that fetus will have its own sole which considered as a human being carried by the mother.

Senior Citizen

Senior citizen should live in a respected, protected, and loving environment. No senior citizen should suffer looniness, neglected, or poverty situation since they paid their dues in life while working hard for many years. It’s not their fault that economy may destroy their savings or social security. We are through the government responsible to offset the deference and assist in creating a better life for the elderly as an appreciation to their work commitment.

Veterans

Veterans are and should be the most respected group. They put their life on the line to protect our country and to defend our freedom. We are obligated to make them aware that they will be taking care of and make sure they are living in a secure and loving environment.

Income: Veterans should be sufficient and in line with average living

Healthcare: Veterans should not suffer from any physical or mental complications by broking system. Veterans’ healthcare must be reformed to satisfy their needs.

Benefits: It should fulfill and satisfy them and their family even in case of being deceased.

Housing: No veterans should be homeless in any circumstance.

Physical & Mental Disability

Physical Disability: is the long or life term loss or impairment of any part of the body function, resulting in a limiting the physical functionality, dexterity, mobility, or even stamina.

The two major categories of physical disabilities are:

  1. The Musculo-skeletal disability, including loss of limbs, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, muscular or bone deformities, degeneration or diseases resulting in losing ability to do normal activities or movements of the body parts.

  2. The Neuro-Musculo disability, including Spina Bifida, cerebral palsy, poliomyelitis, or could result from stroke, head injury and spinal cord injury resulting in the inability to execute controlled movements of affected body parts due to disorder, diseases, or degeneration of the nervous system.

People with physical disability should have resources and activities to make their life safer and more enjoyable.

Mental Disability: involves mental health disorders or mental illness. This wide range of mental health disorders or conditions can affect mood, behavior, and thinking including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addictive behaviors and more.

Mental health is very important and crucial to community health and stability. Therefore, health department should start focusing on it by assign funding and resources to help in addition to addressing the mental health to all sectors.

LGBTQ+

As group they should be protected as any other group. No harm should be done against them physically, mentally, or emotionally. However, few points must be cleared:

  • Marriage: Real marriage should be acquired from religious institution and blessed by God through spiritual person. It must be between a male and a female. However, the marriage certificate obtained from legal institution (Court, City Hall, …etc.) is a legal contract and a binding agreement to become a life partner. It gives the right to legal and financial benefits.

  • Adoption: Since same sex marriage consider as legal contract not a real marriage, therefore, adoption can confuse children in this matter which we consider it as prohibited act unless physical parents agree and sign off on it.

  • Public Services: Since human defined as male and female, then using public services such as bathrooms are separated in most cases except places has one bathroom, therefore, separate public services should be assigned for the group. If it is not available, then each one will use the facility tied to actual genetic structure with the exception of transgender.

  • Sports: No transgender should play with the new status since male and female were built differently where muscles, structure, and flexibility are not the same in both genders.
